Job Summary

THE WORK:
As an AWS or Azure Cloud Architect you will be responsible for designing optimizing and implementing robust cloud architectures that support business growth and operational efficiency for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecture & Design: Lead the architecture design and prototyping of information systems hosted in the cloud focusing on scalability security and performance.
- Review & Audit: Audit and evaluate existing cloud architectures challenging peers and proposing improvements where needed.
- Blueprint Creation: Develop reusable cloud architecture blueprints and building blocks to streamline future implementations.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive software architecture documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across teams.
- Collaboration: Participate in technical working groups meetings with clients and progress discussions to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
- Cloud Center of Excellence: Contribute to our Cloud Center of Excellence driving innovation and best practices within the team.
- Thought Leadership: Participate in knowledge-sharing activities such as blog posts events and internal workshops to keep the team and clients informed of the latest trends.
- Pre-Sales Support: Engage in Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) and support pre-sales activities including writing commercial proposals.

HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:
- A university degree in IT or a related field.
- At least 3 years as a Cloud Architect with hands-on experience in AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of major AWS or Azure services and architecture principles.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS TCP/IP HTTP) and building resilient distributed systems.
- Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs microservices and web services.
- Knowledge of DBMS application design and application performance management is a plus.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work in multi-cultural teams and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent customer focus and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with a strongly typed object-oriented language.
