• Maintaining and repairing guest rooms hotel facilities plant rooms and equipment ensuring a safe clean and welcoming environment
• Performing preventative maintenance and addressing curative repairs in a timely and guest-focused manner.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Supporting the team by reviewing guest feedback participating in improvement initiatives and sharing ideas during meetings and contributing to sustainability goals
• Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns
• Upholding safety standards including compliance with OH&S procedures correct use of PPE and following emergency protocols.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks inspections and daily reports using hotel systems.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels residential buildings fixed plant or equipment systems.
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with guests colleagues and external partners
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently
• Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts including weekends.
• A trade qualification is not required. You must have current working rights in Australia. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
