Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $2666 Weekly Gross
Hourly Rate: $74/hr
Stipend: $1692

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (L&D) provides compassionate high-quality care to expectant mothers and newborns in the labor and delivery setting. The RN is responsible for patient evaluation planning and implementation of nursing interventions while supporting physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with all aspects of labor and delivery care.
Plan implement and document nursing care based on patient needs and physician directives.
Identify patient priorities through continuous assessment planning intervention and evaluation.
Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care based on clinical findings.
Perform therapeutic and emergency nursing interventions as needed.
Advocate for evidence-based care practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Document all patient care activities in accordance with clinical standards and facility policy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse License (State of NJ or Compact).
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).
NRP certification preferred.
Strong clinical judgment critical thinking and patient advocacy skills.
