Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Platform Architect to join our Solutions Team within the Software this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the platform including infrastructure methods and tools that supports our development and operations teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software solutions are scalable secure and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect the platform for Software Factory to support the development and operations of software solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure the platform is scalable secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the platform architecture and infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in platform architecture and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Support the execution of projects by providing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Platform Architect or in a similar role within a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of private and public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
