It is a full-time internship (40-hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off).

What you will do
The purpose of the Internship is to give the Intern an overview of the Company and Hotel organization and an understanding of the structure of the Events department.
Within the specific department the Intern will shadow and actively support the Tutor in order to acquire professional skills.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards anticipate and address guests service needs and thank guests with genuine appreciation
- Manage requests and create offers in conjunction with the Event Manager
- Support the set-up of the event liaising with maintenance housekeeping and F&B
- Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and brand standards collaborating with other employees and ensuring accuracy at all times
- Partner with the F&B hosts to guarantee outstanding mise en place and compliance with brand directions and standards
- Edit a BEO (banquet event order) in order to communicate guest information determine proper set up timeline specific guest needs buffets action stations etc. Respond to and try to fulfil any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
- Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary
What were looking for
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Hospitality/Foreign Languages/MICE
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English; third language is preferred
- Customer Service Orientation
- Team Work Flexibility and a can-do attitude
- A warm people-oriented demeanor
- Attention to details and accuracy at all times
This role requires compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards. You may be required to stand sit or walk for an extended period of time. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
