Treatment (Termite) TechAs a Termite Technician at Lloyd Pest Control youll play a key role in protecting homes and businesses from termites and other wood-destroying organisms. Youll inspect properties apply treatments perform minor repairs and ensure customers receive exceptional service. This position combines hands-on fieldwork technical skills and strong communication to deliver quality results and maintain customer satisfaction. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceProvide excellent customer service to all assigned Termite Protection Plan (TPP) accounts. Listen to customer concerns answer questions and offer effective solutions. Educate customers about termites fungus and other wood-destroying organisms. Schedule and confirm appointments promptly ensuring services are completed on time. Follow up with customers to verify that issues have been resolved to their satisfaction. Respond quickly to trouble or emergency calls. Provide repair or service estimates for items not covered under the protection plan.
Inspections and TreatmentsInspect residential and commercial properties for signs of termites or wood damage. Identify infestation sources and determine the appropriate treatment methods. Mix and apply termite control products safely and according to company and state regulations. Install and maintain Sentricon and other termite monitoring systems. Perform minor wood repairs as needed to maintain structure stability. Ensure all services are completed efficiently accurately and safely.
Equipment and Vehicle CareMaintain a clean stocked and organized company vehicle. Inspect clean and repair tools equipment and safety gear as needed. Drive safely and follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Administrative ResponsibilitiesAccurately complete service reports inspection forms and customer notes using a smartphone or paper forms. Maintain clear records of services treatments and customer communication. Notify customers of account or payment issues when necessary and collect payments as authorized. Plan daily routes efficiently and manage time effectively. Attend required safety and technical training sessions to maintain licenses and certifications.
Physical RequirementsSit stand walk and drive for long periods. Lift and carry up to 100 lbs; crawl kneel climb bend and balance as required. Work in outdoor weather conditions and confined or elevated spaces. Maintain clear vision and focus while performing detailed inspections.
Skills and AbilitiesStrong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage time and workload efficiently. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using mobile apps messaging systems and basic technology. Professional appearance and conduct. Self-motivated dependable and safety-focused.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required. Valid California Class C Drivers License and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check. Applicator and/or Field Representative License in Branch II (General Pest Control) preferred.
Working ConditionsWork primarily conducted in the field at customer locations. Exposure to outdoor weather confined areas and elevated spaces. May require occasional overtime based on workload and customer needs.
