Stourbridge Fulltime Days (7-16:30 M-Th 7-11 F) - Permanent Salary Circa 16ph DOE

Our client a leading manufacturer of engineered metal products is hiring a Solder & Brazer to fabricate brass components to exacting standards in a structured production environment.

What youll do

• Interpret work orders/engineering drawings to determine soldering or brazing requirements.
• Set up jigs and tooling; complete pre-fabrication checks (materials present linishing drilling).
• Solder and braze brass assemblies to a high standard with clean complete joints and minimal rework.
• Perform post-fabrication checks (dimensions pressure testing where required) and carry out drilling/acid cleaning as needed.
• Record each operation in the production system (MES) and progress work to the next stage communicating delays and solutions with the Manufacturing Manager.

What were looking for

• Proven experience as a fabricator with hands-on soldering & brazing (brass).
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Competent with jig set-up measurement and quality inspection.
• Basic IT skills to update work orders/production systems.
• Organised team player with strong communication; safety-focused and proactive.
