Job Summary
We at Excelsior Defense are seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to become part of our exceptional team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and everyone in the Housing Authority Apartments.
You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control of the property. Doing Rounds scanning in different points throughout the property in the Orlando housing apartments.
The Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to make sure everything is safe.
This position is in the Orlando Area:
Part-time:
1. Friday and Saturday 9pm to 5am
2. Sunday and Monday 9pm to 5am
Responsibilities:
- Control access onto property
- Conduct foot patrols of the property
- Monitor premises to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors windows and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
We do not require any experience as we are willing to train the right officer.
Salary: $17.32 per hour
License/Certification:
- Class D Security (Required and must be active)
