Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking aFull-time Infection Control Specialist (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse)to join our Regional Office team inSpringfield Illinois.

TheInfection Control Specialist (RN or LPN)develops and updates policies and procedures related to infection control with current standards of practice. This person ensures compliance and works closely with staff in prevention and control of infection.

Qualifications

APIC Certification; certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
2 years experience providing nursing care in a public health environment or acute care setting with a focus on infection prevention and control preferred
Clear/Active Illinois Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license
Corrections experience preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
