The Upper School also includes a small boarding program of international and domestic students who live and learn together enhancing the vibrancy of the school community. JOB SUMMARY: The successful OES bus driver will be patient and possess the ability to interact appropriately with adults and children of all backgrounds and is a .60 FTE (approximately 24 hrs per week) hourly position. It comes with partially employer paid health insurance retirement plan with generous employer matching contribution paid sick leave and paid holidays. Oregon Episcopal School will provide Behind the Wheel training to earn a Commercial Drivers License and all necessary endorsements to become a School Bus Driver for us. All training is paid! Oregon Episcopal School wants you!!ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Safely drive daily morning and afternoon routes as well as field trips and athletic events as to all Federal State and local laws and regulations as well as school defensive driving techniques at all thorough vehicle inspections before each report any vehicle issues to the mechanic or director of a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) and School Bus Driver in all scheduled safety meetings and training order and discipline among bus riders reporting any issues to the director of all school policies for student pick-up and the bus interior clean and check for lost items after every trip.
