Project Title

Digitalizing Safety Indicators - Incident and Injury prevention through analytics

Project Objective / Purpose

GF Singapore needs a motivated individual to create effective digital communication strategies so that we can improve communication with top management related to risks within the workplace. This highly valued intern position would be responsible for data presented by the head of the EHSS (Environmental Health Safety and Security) department to top management at GF Singapore as well as to corporate management. This candidate will experience the full spectrum of GFs control strategies related to a wide range of risks within the Semiconductor Industry. Project Description

Our intern will assist the APAC Safety team to develop innovative digital solutions for both aged and brand-new operational buildings related to new legislation implementations. Our intern will be expected to participate in and carry out site/equipment inspections / evaluations operational Safety reviews and Safety Case studies as required for a broad range of topics. Our intern will assist the operation teams to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards established by law or regulations. This project is an opportunity to see operations at a MNC Safety organization at its best.

Project Outcome

In this project our intern would have a chance to apply real-life concepts of both operational and process safety / safety case applications. This position will understand the requirements of workplace safety in a Major Hazard Installation site while balancing operational needs. Our intern should be proficient in understanding established safety codes and industry best practices (e.g. MOM WHS NFPA API ANSI etc.) related to Safety and Process Safety reviewing and improving these processes the selected candidate will make a meaningful contribution to preventing injuries and significant incidents in the Semiconductor industry.

Required Qualifications

• Obtaining or completed Degree or Masters in Chemical Engineering Safety or Equivalent
• Fundamental understanding in Process Safety Elements
• Microsoft Power Platform (BI Automate)
• Working experience in Semiconductor Fab sites will be an added advantage
