Job Summary

Location: Haywards Health Burns House or Leatherhead Carlton House covering the South region

Salary: 49178 to 57849 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

As an Available Homes Manager youll play a pivotal role in ensuring our homes are let efficiently fairly and to residents who can sustain successful tenancies. Youll lead a high-performing regional team driving operational excellence to reduce rent loss improve turnaround times and enhance the customer experience.

This is a key leadership role where youll work collaboratively across Clarion and with external partners to make sure every home we let contributes to Clarions long-term success and community impact.

What Youll Be Doing

Leadership & Performance

  • Lead inspire and support a dispersed regional team to deliver excellent performance and meet key targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Use performance data and insight to identify and address any delays in the lettings process.
  • Drive behavioral and cultural change to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

Stakeholder & Partnership Management

  • Act as the main regional contact for local authorities and other housing partners.
  • Negotiate and manage nomination agreements to ensure efficient allocations and sustainable tenancies.
  • Build strong internal relationships with Maintenance Housing and Development teams to ensure new homes are ready to let on time.
  • Influence and hold partners to account for delivery ensuring joint ownership of performance outcomes.

Strategic Delivery

  • Collaborate with other Available Homes Managers to deliver a consistent high-quality service across all regions.
  • Contribute to policy and process reviews to drive improvements and efficiency.
  • Ensure all activity complies with regulatory statutory and Clarion standards.

What Youll Need

  • Proven experience leading and motivating dispersed teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • A strong track record of improving operational efficiency and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication influencing and negotiation skills confident when managing senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical and solutions-focused with the ability to translate insight into action.
