Job Summary

Job Title: CT Scan Technologist
Location: Edison NJ
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $50 to $60/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingCT Scan Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inEdison NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform complex CT procedures including interventional and therapeutic techniques
Review clinical history and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
Prepare and screen patients for contrast media; administer contrast as prescribed
Evaluate image quality and ensure proper identification in PACS
Clarify imaging prescriptions with physicians as needed
Handle insurance verification and exam modifications with the finance team
Obtain and upload external imaging studies for radiologist comparison
Provide image copies to patients and/or referring physicians
Monitor patient condition during procedures and address any concerns
Maintain high standards for patient safety communication and care
Comply with hospital policies and standards of behavior

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
High School diploma or equivalent
NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
ARRT Registered Technologist (R.T. R)
ARRT (CT) Certification (Required)
American Heart Association BLS Certification (Required within 3 months of hire)
Minimum 2 years of CT experience (5 years preferred)
Experience with Epic EMR Fuji PACS and working in a fast-paced ED environment
