Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join a dedicated and collaborative specialty care team in Shelton CT.

This full-time permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care multidisciplinary collaboration and work-life balance. Physicians will provide diagnostic evaluations ongoing management and treatment of autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis lupus gout vasculitis and other autoimmune disorders.
Perform joint aspirations injections and related procedures as needed.
Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Participate in team meetings peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
Educate patients on disease management preventive strategies and lifestyle modifications.

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred but new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply.
