Key Responsibilities

As the Financial Analyst you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate financial insights and supporting decision-making across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

  • Identify trends variances and opportunities providing actionable insights to leadership teams.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with departments to develop budgets forecasts and long-term financial plans.

  • Utilize financial modeling tools and data analytics to support strategic planning and resource allocation.

Operational Support & Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including operations sales and supply chain to support financial initiatives and decision-making.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Special Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • Assist in financial system implementations process improvements and ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Support initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy streamline processes and strengthen financial controls.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience:

  • A degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing or related industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is an asset.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
