Job Summary

Our Collision Center Mechanics/Technicians are one of the most important roles in our collision centers. Todays Technicians are highly-trained well-paid professionals who possess exceptional mechanical skills and thrive on learning and understanding the sophisticated technology behind todays complex vehicles.

This position is for a skilled-level technician who is able to perform diagnostics and repairs on mechanical related collision damages.

Must have: general mechanic skills work on all makes and models of vehicles and able to perform suspension/alignment work. Individual must have tools.

2-5 years technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Repair vehicle per estimate & according to manufacturers standards.
Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts ordered and received
Notify estimator of any additional repairs needed.

Road test vehicle when required.

Todays vehicles are technological marvels. Servicing these vehicles requires an interest in computer diagnostics and cutting-edge technology as vehicles become more intelligent and complex. Keeping vehicles operating at peak performance and providing a best-in-class Guest service experience is key to success in this position.

Qualifications

- 2 - 5 years automotive service technician experience preferred.

- High school graduate or equivalent.

- ASE Certification(s) a plus.

- Must supply own tools for general maintenance and repair work.

- Electrical vehicle experience a plus.

- Diesel vehicle experience a plus.

- Ability to work weekends a plus.

- Able to work productively in a fast-paced environment.

- Able to multi-task and follow complex instructions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish a plus.

- Excellent technical and mechanical skills required.

- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.

- Must have a valid US government issued Drivers License safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.

- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
