Job Summary

Position Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Pediatric PACU
Location: Syracuse NY
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Schedule: (12x3) mix of day (07:0019:30) and evening (11:0023:30) shifts; some weekends required.
Hourly Pay: $60 to $68/hour
Weekly Pay: $2160 to $2448/week

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse - Critical Care - Pediatric PACUfor an exciting Travel or Local job inSyracuse NY.

Responsibilities:

Provide pre- and post-operative care for pediatric patients in the recovery room (PACU)
Perform thorough patient assessments in a critical care setting
Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support pediatric patient recovery
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR (preferred)
Ensure patient safety and comply with hospital policies and protocols

Qualifications:

Active New York State Registered Nurse License
BLS certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent pediatric critical care experience in an acute care setting (within the last 2 years)
PACU experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
