What are we looking for

A Resident DJ serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:

• Proven experience as a DJ in a nightlife hotel resort or entertainment setting.

• Deep knowledge of music across multiple genres (e.g. electronic house hip-hop R&B pop etc.).

• Excellent ability to read and adapt to different crowds and atmospheres.

• Skilled in using industry-standard DJ software and hardware (e.g. Serato Rekordbox Pioneer CDJs).

• Strong stage presence and confidence in engaging with audiences.

• Reliable punctual and a strong team player.

• Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.

A Resident DJ you will be responsible for curating and delivering high quality music sets that aligns with brand identity audience preferences and events themes.

What will I be doing

As a Resident DJ you will be responsible or curating and delivering high quality music sets that aligns with brand identity audience preferences and events themes. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform live DJ sets on on schedule nights special events and theme parties

• Curate diverse playlists tailored to the audience and event type maintaining a high energy and engaging atmosphere.

• Read the crowd and adjust the music accordingly to maintain optimal energy levels throughout the event.

• Collaborate with the marketing and events team to align music programming with promotions and themed nights.

• Maintain and operate DJ equipment ensuring all gear is in top condition.

• Stay up to date with music trends and genres bringing fresh and current sounds to the venue.

• Interact professionally with guests taking music requests when appropriate and creating a positive memorable experience.

• Assist in setting up sound equipment and ensure proper audio levels during performances.

• Follow the venues guidelines including volume levels brand voice and code of conduct.

• Occasionally represent the brand at external events or collaborations.
