Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 4 Teacher will design well-sequenced maths units that develop reasoning and fluency and will be accountable for progress as the Year 4 Teacher.
The Year 4 Teacher will plan ambitious reading and writing sequences as the Year 4 Teacher embedding wider curriculum knowledge.
The Year 4 Teacher will use regular assessment to personalise learning and run interventions where needed as the Year 4 Teacher.
The Year 4 Teacher will engage with parents and contribute to enrichment activities beginning in January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements
QTS and solid KS2 experience as a Year 4 Teacher.
Strong subject knowledge clear behaviour strategies and an evidence-informed approach expected of the Year 4 Teacher.
A collaborative Year 4 Teacher who will join induction CPD and planning prior to the January 2026 start and teach full-time from January 2026.
Contract & start: this is a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher vacancy beginning January 2026. The school provides induction in January 2026 and ongoing mentoring for the Year 4 Teacher appointed in January 2026.
