The role what the Year 1 Teacher will do
As Year 1 Teacher you will plan and deliver systematic phonics lively guided reading sessions and creative writing units. The Year 1 Teacherwill develop number confidence and independent learning skills. The Year 1 Teacher will use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions to accelerate progress. This Year 1 Teacher role is Full-Time and the Full-Time Year 1 Teacher will be supported by skilled teaching assistants and leaders from day one of the January 2026 start.
