The Role
- Position: Upper KS2 Class Teacher (Year 5 or Year 6 assigned based on experience and preference)
- Location: Milton Keynes
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
- TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As a KS2 Class Teacher you will:
- Deliver high-quality engaging lessons that support pupils academic and personal development
- Prepare children for the transition into Year 6 or secondary school with confidence and skill
- Work collaboratively with your year group partner to plan and assess effectively
- Build positive relationships with pupils parents and colleagues
- Contribute to whole-school life through clubs enrichment activities or curriculum initiatives
- (Optional) Lead a subject or area of development if applying for a TLR
What Were Looking For
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for Upper Key Stage 2 education
- A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner who values creativity rigour and inclusion
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective behaviour management strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to high standards and supporting every child to thrive
- Applications welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs
