Job Summary
About the Role:
We are looking for a Science ECT to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Cambridge this January 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons in Biology Chemistry or Physicsacross KS3KS4 with the opportunity to specialise at KS5. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated ECT to begin their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Science across KS3KS4 specialising at KS5 where appropriate.
Create engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and scientific understanding.
Track and monitor student progress ensuring exceptional outcomes.
Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and Science fairs.

About You:
Degree in Science or related discipline.
PGCE or equivalent with QTS (or pending).
