Estimated Pay: $55.00 per hour
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy services for patients in the Gettysburg PA area. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients improve independence safety and overall quality of life within their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
Implement therapy programs to restore functional independence and improve mobility and cognitive abilities
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises adaptive equipment and home modifications
Fabricate or adjust assistive devices and provide training on their use
Reassess progress and update treatment plans as necessary
Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of clinical records
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress
Participate in staff meetings case conferences and ongoing professional education
Schedule and Shift Details
Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Full-time; no weekends holidays or on-call requirements
Travel
Local travel to patient homes within the Gettysburg and surrounding area
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy or related healthcare setting
Current AHA BLS certification (ACLS or PALS accepted)
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Experience using EMR systems and mobile technology
Strong organizational time management and documentation skills
Preferred
OT license number provided upon application
