Position Overview An experienced Pharmacist is needed to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across the main campus and affiliated clinics. This role supports a broad patient population including neonatal pediatric adolescent adult geriatric oncology and obstetric patients.
The Pharmacist ensures safe effective and consistent delivery of pharmacy services in accordance with established standards and policies. The position involves rotating shifts-including days evenings nights weekends and holidays-and offers opportunities for professional growth through advanced practice tiers.
Key Responsibilities -
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care for both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Review interpret and verify medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.

Provide patient and provider counseling on drug therapy dosing and interactions.

Oversee specialized pharmacy-based clinics and quality improvement programs.

Conduct ongoing evaluations of clinical services to optimize patient care.

Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff including pharmacists technicians assistants and billers.

Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures.

Manage daily operations as Clinic Manager at assigned locations.
About the Facility This position is based in a regional healthcare center serving a 4400-square-mile area in northwestern Arizona. The organization offers inpatient outpatient emergency dental ophthalmology orthopedic OB/GYN surgical and specialty services.
The surrounding community provides a culturally rich environment home to the Navajo Hopi and Southern Paiute tribes alongside a diverse workforce of healthcare professionals.
Qualifications Required:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.

Active unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory or the District of Columbia.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist.

Minimum 1 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience.
