Description: NCDIT Transportation is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month) contractor assignment. The selected candidate will fill the role of Java Mid-Level Technical Specialist on the DMV Traffic Records Systems (TRS). TRS supports the DMV Crash Data Management and DOH Traffic Safety in collecting analysis and distribution of motor vehicle accident information. The chosen candidate will be part of the application maintenance team serving as the technical specialist and consultant by independently managing complex Java projects and providing critical second level 24x7 on-call support.

Required Skills:

Documented Experience in Java/JEE Oracle and XML. Required 3 Years
Documented Experience in Web Services JSP Servlets Spring Struts Eclipse IDE and version control tools Required 3 Years
Documented Experience in Application analysis and design cost analysis estimating staffing needs testing documentation and implementation Required 3 Years
Documented Experience in Technical helpdesk support Required 3 Years
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Computer Engineering Math or Engineering or related technical discipline. Required
Effective communications in oral and written form Required
Java Certification Desired
