Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School
- Must have current RCP state licensure in the state inquiring employment and in good standing
- Must be willing to get cross-licensed in other states at the companys expense
- Must have a valid drivers license and automobile insurance in good standing
- At least 1-year experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is required
- Experience in the home care setting is highly desirable
- RRT certification required
- Current CPR- BLS certification required
- Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner
Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and families providing timely and accurate information to ensure satisfaction
- Develop good working relationships with referral sources
- Plan daily events efficiently minimizing travel time
- Schedule setups and follow-up visits per company policies
- Coordinate patient discharges with RT Clinical Liaisons
- Triage field problems according to company standards and training policies
- Ensure accurate timely documentation of patient concerns and corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with laws regulations and SOPs
- Foster a culture of white glove service
- Submit monthly travel expense reports promptly
- Handle on-call responsibilities as needed
