Junior Accountant Claremont

Duties & Responsibilities

An established and fast-growing company in the food and environmental testing sector is seeking a Junior Accountant Trainee to join their dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent finance graduate who is eager to learn and develop a solid foundation in accounting and financial administration.
Responsibilities:

Issue daily purchase orders and analyse open orders
Process and submit weekly supplier payments
Prepare and send remittances to suppliers
Reconcile supplier invoices to GRVs and purchase orders
Assist accountants with invoice raising and related tasks
Support general finance and administration functions as needed

Requirements:

A 3-year tertiary qualification in Finance Accounting or a related field
Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with accounting software advantageous)
High attention to detail accuracy and organisational ability
Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional finance environment
