Duties and responsibilities:
Respond to application-related queries from prospective students via telephone email chatbot and walk-ins.
Respond to all application-related queries within the required turnaround time.
Assist in extracting and organising application-related data for basic reporting and trend analysis.
Assist in the institutions participation in school career expos exhibitions and parents evenings and ensure proper event recordkeeping.
Assist applicants with navigation support for the online application portal.
Identify and report system errors or repetitive queries to the supervisor for resolution or escalation.
Where required assist with marketing initiatives aimed at recruiting students as advised by the Faculties and the Directorate.


Inherent requirements:
A bachelors degree or a BTech degree on NQF Level 7 in Commerce/Social Sciences/Information systems or Higer Education Administration or a related discipline.
A minimum of one (1) years working experience in a customer service or help desk environment a student admissions or academic administration role or marketing or outreach activities in an educational setting.

Recommendations:
Honours degree or relevant qualification on NQF Level 8 in Commerce/ Social Sciences/Information systems/Higher Education Administration or related discipline.
Experience in Contact Centre.
Knowledge and understanding of the Universitys processes.
Knowledge of the Universitys learning programs and products.
Knowledge of business principles and practice.
Knowledge of the Universitys systems and data management.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package including benefits is R 388426.59 R 487479.38 per annum depending on the budget available for the position relevant work experience and qualifications.
