The Opportunity

Theyre looking for a Head of Engineering / VP of Engineering to lead the build-out of their U.S. engineering organization in New York City. Youll partner closely with the CEO a successful founder with a prior healthcare exit and a technical lead in India to scale the companys AI automation platform across the healthcare ecosystem.
Youll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on builder comfortable translating product vision into scalable systems and rolling up your sleeves when needed.

What Youll Do

Build and lead the engineering organization in New York (first 10 hires).
Collaborate with product and business leadership to translate operational pain points into technical opportunities.
Work closely with the engineering team in India to align architecture velocity and quality.
Drive end-to-end delivery of intelligent automation products using React Python and TypeScript.
Establish best practices for CI/CD testing and scalability as the company continues to grow 30% month over month.
Remain technical and hands-on able to dive into architecture design or code when needed.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure engineering is a business enabler not just a service function.

What You Bring

812 years of software engineering experience including 35 in a leadership capacity.
Experience scaling a team from early-stage (seed / Series A) through growth.
Strong technical foundation across React Python and TypeScript (AI/ML familiarity a plus).
Track record of shipping complex data-driven or automation-heavy products.
Deep empathy for product and user experience you think in outcomes not just features.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills; thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
