Job Summary

RETINA SURGEON NEEDED IN NORFOLK VIRGINIA

This group is a busy well established group of ophthalmologists complemented by a staff of eye care professionals to provide multi-specialty services to the Coastal Virginia area. They are searching for a fellowship trained BC/BE Retina specialist interested in anterior segment and cataracts with exceptional surgical skills and the talent to develop and maintain excellent relationships with their referring physicians as well as functioning comfortably with clinical and surgical demand.

About the Position:

Immediate surgical volume: cataract and vitreoretinal procedures including retinal detachment repair macular surgery diabetic eye disease and complex posterior segment cases
Established referral base with immediate clinic and OR access
1:3 months call rotation (ODs take first call)
Mentorship and collaboration with nationally recognized subspecialists
Teaching research and leadership opportunities available
Full integration into a busy collaborative multi-subspecialty team
