The Department of Radiology at Childrens Mercy Kansas City and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC-SOM) seek a clinical / academic diagnostic pediatric radiologist to join a highly specialized academic Pediatric Radiology group.
Our rapidly growing Radiology Department at Childrens Mercy is comprised of 27 radiologists with subspecialty expertise in all areas of pediatric imaging. Compensation paid time off and benefits are highly competitive to the market. Both full and part-time candidates will be considered as well as hybrid vs. on-site. This position will be hired through and employed by Childrens Mercy and primarily serve Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital located in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
This position includes a collegial private practice style work environment with autonomous management of pediatric imaging that also includes teleradiology access to subspecialty academic pediatric radiologists at Childrens Mercy Hospital.
The candidate should be CAQ-certified or CAQ-eligible in Pediatric Radiology. The position entails practice within all aspects of pediatric imaging excluding nuclear medicine cardiac imaging and interventional radiology. Teaching duties include radiology residents from multiple residency programs. Research opportunities also are available but not required. Academic appointments will be through the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine with an adjunct appointment at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Our program has a CAQ accredited pediatric radiology fellowship program.
