We are seeking to appoint a Head of Inclusive Learning Secondary (Years 10-12) to develop and strengthen our Schools approach to Inclusive Learning. This role is to commence at our Corio Campus in Term 1 2026. This is a full-time role consisting of the Position of Responsibility of 0.60 FTE 10% Responsibility Loading for 5 years and an ongoing teaching contract of 0.40 FTE. Part-time applications will also be considered.

About the role:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Work with the Head of Inclusive Learning Primary to align the direction of Inclusive Learning with the Schools strategic framework
  • Effectively lead and manage the GGS Secondary (Year 10-12) Inclusive Learning team through implementation of a clear strategy and communication and monitoring of clear accountabilities
  • Develop implement and administer relevant policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective learning programs for every student across the range of abilities
  • Record and collate all NCCD information for GGS Secondary (Years 10-12)
  • Assist and provide ongoing support for all teachers todevelop implementand recordevidence of appropriate individual adjustments for students withdisability

About you:

Applicants must possess:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of contemporary practices and theories influencing Inclusive Learning
  • Effective relationship management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Special Education preferably post graduate
  • Deep and proven understanding and experience in supporting students with additional learning needs across the range of abilities
  • A student-centred focus and high-level interpersonal and communication skills
  • VIT registration
