Job Summary

Purpose

Strategic oversight and operational management of the DRL client relationship ensuring delivery of key commercial metrics cross-functional alignment and execution of initiatives across sales marketing forecasting and financial reconciliation.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The role of Senior Client Manager is to lead the day-to-day relationship with DRL ensuring commercial and operational excellence. This includes managing internal and external stakeholders coordinating sales and marketing activities overseeing financial processes and supporting inventory and forecasting functions.

Business Performance

  • Ensure achievement of client-related commercial targets.
  • Lead weekly updates with Annette and maintain daily contact with the client.
  • Monitor daily sales reports and flag significant changes to Georgina for stock planning.
  • Ensure commercial selling decks are originated and updated by DRL and distributed ahead of key meetings.
  • Incorporate Bridgethorne analysis and monthly Circana data into planning.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly DRL team meetings including Marketing.
  • Coordinate Commercial Meetings (Week 1 & Week 3) including:
  • Deep dive planning
  • Sales updates from CW GV PS
  • COTIF reporting from Logistics

Project Management

  • Oversee Trade Spend Tracker updates and lead weekly review meetings with EW and CW.
  • Approve trade activity and pricing proposals for onward submission to EW.
  • Manage financial reconciliation and recharges to DRL ensuring accuracy of BAs work.
  • Ensure timely PO creation for Wavemaker ATL recharges to enable reclaim from DRL.

Client Management

  • Act as the daily point of contact for the client triaging actions as needed.
  • Support Pharmacy Team initiatives including marketing aids and event attendance (e.g. Pharmacy Show).
  • Collaborate with Georgina and Stew on stock levels and bundling strategies.
  • Optional attendance at Amazon weekly meetings to stay informed on channel performance.

Forecasting & Inventory

  • Support forecasting activities with BA providing detailed inputs and EW sharing his forecast.
  • Monitor stock and inventory levels closely supported by AD.
  • Evaluate bundling combinations and pricing strategies in the market.

Professional Competencies

Preferred Career Experience

  • Experience in client management within FMCG pharmaceutical or retail sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with sales reporting forecasting and financial reconciliation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Marketing or related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of trade spend and promotional planning.

Required Skills Technical

  • Strong understanding of commercial metrics and sales performance tracking.
  • Ability to interpret market data (e.g. Circana Bridgethorne) and apply insights.
  • Experience with forecasting tools and inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with trade spend tracking and financial reconciliation processes.
