Job Summary and Responsibilities
Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in PhoenixArizona is an international leader in the treatment research and education of brain and spinal diseases conditions and injuries. Led by Barrow President and CEO Michael T. Lawton MD one of the worlds top neurosurgeons the Institute is one of the busiest centers for neurology and neurosurgery in the United States. Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR
- Care for patients before during and after procedures
- Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients
- Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies
- Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients

Job Requirements
Minimum:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
AZ RN license
American Heart Association BLS certification
ACLS certification
Preferred:
BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty
One year recent acute care experience
