SWP Contracting LLC is looking for a Foreman to support our construction and maintenance/vegetation contract in the Harlingen TX area.
Essential Functions:
- Proactive problem solving with resources and scheduled milestones.
- Ensuring manpower and resources are appropriate to successfully execute plans.
- Direct personnel and adjust priorities
- Implement project schedules and employee work plans.
- Delegate when appropriate to focus on higher priority needs.
- Ensure and emphasize compliance with all safety precautions policies and plans.
- Monitor direct and coach job site personnel.
Education/Certifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Additional relevant certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant construction foreman or equivalent experience.
- Extensive OSH guidelines knowledge/experience.
- Solid experience in construction outstanding leadership personality and ability to make decisions in complex situations.
- Broad knowledge of construction equipment blueprints concrete carpentry and roadwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
