Job Summary

SWP Contracting LLC is looking for a Foreman to support our construction and maintenance/vegetation contract in the Harlingen TX area.

Essential Functions:

Proactive problem solving with resources and scheduled milestones.
Ensuring manpower and resources are appropriate to successfully execute plans.
Direct personnel and adjust priorities
Implement project schedules and employee work plans.
Delegate when appropriate to focus on higher priority needs.
Ensure and emphasize compliance with all safety precautions policies and plans.
Monitor direct and coach job site personnel.

Education/Certifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Additional relevant certifications are a plus.

Required Qualifications:

3 years of relevant construction foreman or equivalent experience.
Extensive OSH guidelines knowledge/experience.

Solid experience in construction outstanding leadership personality and ability to make decisions in complex situations.
Broad knowledge of construction equipment blueprints concrete carpentry and roadwork.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
