The Senior Director Facilities (Americas) is responsible for leading facility operations security and maintenance programs across all owned and leased properties in the region with dotted-line relationships with facilities personnel at international sites. This role drives strategic planning ensures regulatory compliance and oversees multimillion-dollar construction initiatives to support business growth. The Senior Director also cultivates a high-performing team culture focused on safety operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President Global Operations and is part of the Global Operations Senior Leadership Team located in Sunnyvale CA and will be based on-site.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Support corporate-led capital deployment initiatives exceeding $100M assist with global lease coordination for offices factories and distribution centers and contribute to cost-effective infrastructure planning

• Develop and execute a five-year global facilities strategy aligned with business growth.

• Lead all regional facility operations construction and security programs across owned and leased properties ensuring regulatory compliance and operational uptime.

• Partnering and supporting regional business continuity planning including crisis management recovery strategies and risk mitigation across sites.

• Build and retain a high-performing inclusive team; foster a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement using the Danaher Business System.

• Advise senior leadership on facilities strategy risk and long-term planning; influence cross-functional decisions and organizational development.

• Champion lean practices kaizen initiatives and process optimization to drive measurable improvements in facilities and security performance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors degree preferred with 15 years of experience in facilities within regulated industries AND 5 years of people leadership experience.

• Advanced certifications such as FMP or CFM preferred

• Proven success applying LEAN methodologies (DBS TPS Kaizen FMEA etc.) to drive measurable improvements in facilities and security operations.

• Strong decision-making leadership presence and ability to present clear actionable insights to senior leadership.

• Committed to stakeholder satisfaction continuous improvement and monitoring performance through maturity models and leading indicators.

The annual salary range for this role is $175000 - $225000 per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
