About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Officer to join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax-related activities ensuring compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and supporting the organization in maintaining accurate tax records and payments.





Requirements

bachelors degree in accounting Finance or Financial Audit.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a finance or tax-related role.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.


Key Responsibilities


  • Handle selected state government audits.
  • Collect review and update local state tax laws.
  • Prepare and implement annual tax payment plans.
  • Gather tax vouchers and receipts from stores and maintain comprehensive tax files.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
