About the Role
As the Manager of Med-Surg and Telemetry you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care operational excellence and team performance across the Med-Surg and Telemetry units. Essential Job Duties
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of patient care and documentation
Maintain confidentiality and function effectively in a high-volume patient environment
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
Utilize strong computer skills and a solid understanding of English grammar and punctuation
Apply mathematical skills to calculate proportions percentages BSA circumference and volume
Define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Two (2) years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry department-specific experience required
Charge nurse or supervisory experience in the department preferred
Minimum Essential Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required
Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred
Required Licensure / Certifications
Registered Nurse with current California RN license
Current BLS certification
ACLS certification
Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience required or completion of a Basic EKG class within six months of employment
Required Skills:
