The Maintenance Technician (Painter) plays a key role in maintaining the appearance and integrity of our facilities through skilled painting surface repair and general cosmetic maintenance. This position ensures our hospital environment remains clean welcoming and aligned with the high standards of care Womans is known for.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Minimum of two years of on-the-job experience in painting or cosmetic maintenance. Basic skills in painting floor tile work sheetrock repair and other general building trade tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare paint and finish interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Perform general maintenance and cosmetic repairs including floor tile sheetrock wallpaper baseboard ceiling tile and carpet work.
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs replacing air filters cleaning HVAC vents and repairing or refinishing furniture.
- Inspect work areas identify repair needs and complete tasks efficiently and safely in accordance with hospital standards.
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure proper use and care of tools materials and equipment.
- Assist with other building maintenance or renovation projects as directed by Facilities Management leadership.
- Perform duties consistent with hospital policies safety procedures and Womans mission of excellence in care and service.
Schedule:
- Full-Time; Days
- Monday - Friday
Pay Range:
- Hourly/Non-Exempt Position
- $15.24 - $23.62
