Job Summary
Position Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Location: Utica NY
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Days (3x12-hour shifts)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $58 to $62/hour
Weekly Pay: $2088 to $2232/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Emergency Departmentfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Utica NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and high-quality care to patients with urgent and emergent medical conditions
Triage assess and manage a wide range of patient types including pediatric and trauma cases
Utilize critical care and emergency equipment such as the Arctic Sun and Rapid Infuser
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Float to other areas within the ED as required
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Demonstrate leadership and if needed perform charge RN duties
Follow safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
Pediatrics experience required
Charge nurse capability highly preferred
Active New York RN license (required)
Valid NURSYS report showing all active RN licenses
Current AHA certifications: ACLS BLS PALS
Additional certifications: NIHSS TNCC
Experience with EPIC EMR
Drivers license must match demographic information
