Shift: PRN as needed. You will be a level II PRN which requires you to work a minimum of 24 hours per month (4) weekends per year and (2) holidays per year. Looking for someone with 1st or 2nd shift availability and option of working weekends.

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.

• Verify patient identification obtain relevant medical history and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding and comfort.

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

• Adhere to all MRI safety guidelines including screening for contraindications and maintaining proper magnet room safety procedures.

• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists to determine if additional views or sequences are required.

• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain certification and keep current with advancements in MRI technology.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Graduate of an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Experience:

• 2 years of prior MRI experience

Certification/License:

• Current Radiologic Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Current MRI certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or six months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
