Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker with a proven track record in drayage transloading and intermodal logistics. The ideal candidate will bring an existing book of business focused on import/export freight especially port-related drayage movements. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a commission-driven environment and wants to expand their impact within a supportive logistics team.
Responsibilities
Build and manage customer relationships focused on drayage and port-based freight
Develop and expand a personal book of business
Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability
Collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence and on-time delivery
Identify growth opportunities in drayage intermodal and related service lanes
Requirements
Preferred Experience
25 years of freight brokerage experience preferably with drayage or intermodal accounts
Existing customer relationships and an active book of business
Strong communication negotiation and relationship management skills
Proven success working in a commission-driven environment
