As the Individual Giving Manager at Mid-Ohio Food Collective you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing strong relationships with individual donors capable of contributing $5000 or more annually. You will manage a portfolio of 80-100 donors and prospects employing targeted strategies for qualification cultivation solicitation and personalized stewardship to ensure sustainable revenue for our mission. Your efforts will focus on retaining loyal donors while identifying opportunities for increased giving and long-term engagement through continuous interactions annual qualifications meetings and fundraising goals. Primary duties include conducting research to identify and qualify prospective donors creating thorough solicitation proposals and supporting various fundraising efforts across the organization. You will also track activities in our donor database to maintain performance metrics and collaborate closely with MOFC team members to drive impactful initiatives forward. Your commitment to fostering meaningful connections will be pivotal in enhancing our outreach and mission success.
To thrive as the Individual Giving Manager at Mid-Ohio Food Collective a strong foundation of skills and competencies is essential. A Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required along with at least three years of demonstrated experience in soliciting and closing gifts showcasing a proven track record of securing operating gifts. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively represent MOFC to stakeholders. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is crucial as is a commitment to confidentiality and high fundraising ethics. Proficiency in constituent relationship management software and Microsoft Office is necessary while familiarity with AI tools is preferred. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Engaging effectively with various stakeholders will be vital to fostering meaningful relationships and achieving organizational goals.
