Attindas is offering exciting opportunities for Maintenance Technician -First Shift (06:30pm 07:00pm)at our Delaware Ohio manufacturing facility starting at$21.50*/hour!

Attindas Hygiene Partners designs manufactures and markets absorbent hygiene products. The company sells adult incontinence and infant diapers among other products into the healthcare retail and direct-to-consumer channels under brands including Attends Indas and Comfees as well as a wide range of private label brands for retailers.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Maintenance Technician will provide hands-on support to the plant to ensure that the machines and equipment are properly maintained to provide the most effective capabilities. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for maintaining the proper tools to complete their assigned jobs and for providing input to the Spare Parts Technician on stocking the proper parts to maintain the machines.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

High school diploma or equivalent GED from an accredited school
Technical school Journeyman machinist or millwright papers preferred
Good computer skills

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Install troubleshoot repair and maintain a wide variety of plumbing mechanical systems in accordance with local state or national codes. Review maintenance requests identify and recommend optimum solutions. Perform preventative maintenance inspections and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment. Perform general maintenance welding projects on machines conveyors air shafts and other equipment using arc gas or automatic welding equipment. Using a variety of machines such as lathes mills precision grinders etc. perform basic machining turning down shafts cut keyways etc.
