The Womens Health Unit consists of a 30 bed Antepartum/Postpartum 18 bed Normal Newborn Nursery 6 bed Intermediate/Special Care 6 bed LDR 6 bed High Risk 2 bed L&D Triage area and 2 OR suites. We care for both low and high risk laboring patients antepartum scheduled and unscheduled and emergent cesarean sections high risk care of pregnant patients with co-morbidities such as preeclampsia diabetes cardiac neurological and respiratory conditions. Care of the pregnant patient carrying a child with congenital malformations or life threatening conditions. Care of patients experiencing pre-term labor multiple gestational pregnancy and serious complications of pregnancy.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:
- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
- 2 Years of L and D experience
BSN Pay Range: $34.76 - $57.06 per hour
ADN Pay Range: $32.31 - $57.06 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
