Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $24.00-29.00 per hour

Incentive: $5000 Bonus

Our RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy outpatient center is seeking a licensed COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) to provide quality patient care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience helping all of our patients get back to athletics work life and the things they love.

We are seeking a Full Time Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our Naperville North location. This is a full-time position. Our caseload includes a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing emotional regulation developmental delay cerebral palsy genetic disorders autism spectrum disorders feeding disorders visual motor deficits and more. You will play an integral role in collaborating with other professionals to help our pediatric patients reach their goals and learn new skills.

Our clinicians have opportunities to participate in internal and external continuing education and collaborate with colleagues across our 12 centers in the Chicagoland area. Opportunity to work in multidisciplinary centers with fellow pediatric clinicians including PT OT Speech and ABA.

Responsibilities

  • Detail-Oriented: Observe note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
  • Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
  • High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
  • Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist optimize patients functional abilities and skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
  • State COTA license (or license eligible)
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state drivers license
