About the Role

As a Product & Application Engineer you will:

Prepare quotes and proposals: Select size and configure hygienic fluid handling and heat transfer products; prepare technical and commercial proposals; hand over orders to the support team and follow post-order processes.
Handle technical claims: Coordinate with regional and global teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
Support partners and customers: Provide technical support run virtual and in-person meetings seminars and webinars.
Promote sustainability and innovation: Conduct optimization audits and support new product launches.
Be active in the market: Champion product campaigns train customers and channel partners on Alfa Laval products.

Your Profile

Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or similar)
13 years experience in hygienic fluid handling (pumps valves mixing tank cleaning) heat transfer or related equipment
Knowledge of food dairy beverage and pharma processes
Strong relationship-building communication and negotiation skills
Ability to train and coach others on product and applications
Comfortable using ERP CRM and digital tools
Willingness to travel up to 25% locally and internationally
Based in Melbourne
