Whats the role
As Senior Manager Quality Assurance youll lead a team of specialists within our Quality Assurance & Enablement function based in Parramatta NSW. This full-time role sits at the heart of Westpacs financial crime risk operations where youll oversee the design delivery and continuous improvement of our QA framework across key areas including sanctions customer due diligence (CDD) transaction monitoring and law enforcement notices.
Youll be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and consistency of assurance activities providing strategic insights to senior stakeholders and driving a culture of excellence and accountability. Youll also play a key role in coaching and developing your team managing offshore service partners and collaborating across financial crime operations to uplift performance and reduce risk. If youre passionate about leading change simplifying processes and delivering meaningful outcomes this one is for you.
What do I need
Were looking for someone whos confident capable and ready to lead with purpose. Youll bring:
- Strong experience in financial crime operations / compliance across all areas of Transaction Monitoring sanctions customer due diligence (CDD) and government notices.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams with a focus on coaching mentoring and performance uplift.
- Sharp analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills knowing how to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for continuous improvement with experience in QA frameworks process design and operational efficiency.
