What youll be doing: Header Operator/Setup Perform all functions necessary for the successful operation of assigned Header machines including set-ups to assure efficiency and productivity in producing a high-quality product.

• Set-up and operate a variety of cold forming Headers used in the manufacturing of Formed parts by reading and referring to blueprints for set-ups and parts specification.
• Visual inspection of parts for quality while utilizing micrometers calipers optical comparator microscope dial indicator gages depth gages plug gages tri-roll gages ring gages and go/no-go gages
• Clean and maintain tooling in good condition and follow 5S procedures
• Operates Data Collection system and completes all necessary forms and reporting
• Communicates tooling and/or maintenance needs to Supervisor as needed
• Recognizes and executes appropriate measures to assure proper processing of nonconforming product
• Maintains safe working conditions and conducts oneself in such a manner as to not endanger oneself or fellow team members

Additional Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Ability to read write count bend stoop reach climb sit stand and lift 75 lbs. is required
• Computer operating skills required
• High aptitude for math is preferred
• Proficiency in technical reading a must
