Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing physical therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools helping them improve their mobility strength and overall physical function.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students mobility strength balance and coordination.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and goals tailored to students specific needs and abilities.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve students motor skills range of motion and functional independence.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions as well as group therapy sessions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students educational plans.
- Monitor students progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document therapy sessions progress reports and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students physical therapy needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience providing physical therapy services in a pediatric or school setting.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric physical therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students parents and school staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology used in physical therapy (preferred).

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting):
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and move around in various areas of the school facility. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students staff and parents both verbally and in writing. The employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally be required to bend stoop kneel or crouch. Additionally the employee must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
